An international bestseller published in over twenty-five countries, HEX by Thomas Olde Heuvelt is the chilling novel that heralded the arrival of a new voice in horror and dark fantasy.

In the seemingly picturesque Hudson Valley town of Black Spring, residents are haunted by the Black Rock Witch, a seventeenth century woman whose eyes and mouth have been sewn shut. Muzzled, the Black Rock Witch roams the streets, enters homes at will and stands beside the beds of children throughout the night.

To prevent the curse from spreading, the elders of Black Spring have quarantined the town by way of high-tech surveillance. Frustrated with being kept in lockdown, the town’s teenagers decide to break their strict regulations and go viral with the haunting. In doing so, they send the town spiraling into a witch-hunt that boils over into persecution, scapegoating and a shocking denouement.

Setting ancient magic against contemporary technology, HEX is one of the most thoughtful horror stories of the twenty-first century, made all the more chilling for its uncompromising view of humanity.

First published in Dutch in 2013, HEX would become the author’s English language debut novel just three years later, receiving high praise from peers like Stephen King, who called it, “totally, brilliantly original,” and George R.R. Martin who raved, “HEX is creepy, gripping and original… sure to be one of the top horror novels of 2016.”

The signed limited edition of HEX by Thomas Olde Heuvelt is presented in three states: Lettered, Numbered and Artist editions.

The classic edition of Hex is another absolutely gorgeous Suntup edition. For me the artwork and dust jacket are some of the most interesting and beautifully rendered art that Suntup has offered to date. I continue to anxiously anticipate future Suntup offerings.

Hex: Hy is maar ‘n puik produksie

The AE is beautifully produced; one of Suntup’s best!!! Dust jacket, paper, art … each a bullseye! A must-have of the Suntup collection.

Due to a few issues in production, this is a delayed edition from Suntup. As with the exemplary customer service we've come to expect, we were informed of the delays and frequently kept up to date with how things were going. As a result, the Artist Edition was upgraded to a Classic Edition with the inclusion of the author's signature.
Well, the book exceeded expectations, the art inside is phenomenal, the case is a treat and well.....it's what we've come to expect. How far the bar can be raised will be interesting to see. I bought my first Suntup AE just over 3 years ago - they have consistently got better and better.

Another awesome SUNTUP edition of a favorite book (soon to be a classic).

So glad HEX is being discovered and embraced, as a great piece of Horror writing and now as another great Suntup Edition. Read this book, and collect this edition. Ranks right up there with other Suntup favorites, including the just out JAWS.
